Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Editor - Content Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the content of our books, from contract signature to delivery of print-ready files.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the content of our books, ensuring all titles meet quality standards.
- Work closely with authors and other departments to ensure titles remain on schedule.
- Develop and implement content strategies to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure all titles are visually appealing and meet brand guidelines.
- Proofread and edit all content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with authors, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Editor - Content Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the book production process.
- Excellent editing, proofreading, and attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Good communication skills, with experience of liaising with authors and other departments.
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign software.
