Mechanical Draughtsperson

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsperson to join our team at Employment Solutions Limited.
The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting sales documentation, creating general arrangement drawings, and producing detailed manufacturing drawings for cranes and related equipment.
This is a varied role that requires collaboration across departments, ensuring smooth project delivery from design to manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical or design engineering, with experience in CAD systems and engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret sales specifications to create General Arrangement drawings for cranes and hoists.
- Conduct customer site visits when necessary to ensure accuracy in the general arrangement process.
- Identify components and materials to enter into the company's MRP system for production.
- Produce detailed manufacturing drawings and release them for crane and hoist manufacturing.
- Liaise effectively with the sales, manufacturing teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure technical support and smooth order processing.
In return, you will receive a competitive base salary up to £32k, depending on experience, 25 days holidays & bank holidays, Life Assurance and Occupational Health Services.
