Job Title: Catering Team Member
Job Summary:
Lancashire County Council's catering service is looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join their team as a Catering Team Member at Carleton Green Primary School. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving food to school children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the dining area for service, including setting up and putting away furniture.
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and beverages.
- Clean all equipment and catering areas.
Requirements:
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
- Good customer care skills.
- Previous catering and food preparation experience is essential.
- Attention to detail essential.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday.
- Term time only.
- 10 Hours per week equalling 2 hrs per day Monday to Friday over the lunchtime period.
