As a Property Acquisition Specialist at Network Rail, you will play a crucial role in delivering a professional property service to support the delivery of complex rail infrastructure projects. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the acquisition of third-party land and property rights, ensuring that all transactions are completed efficiently and effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Manage the delivery of professional property services, including acquisition, compensation claims, leases, surrenders, and complex lettings.
2. Develop and maintain close working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of property services.
3. Provide technical leadership on property issues, identifying and implementing changes to support the delivery of Property Services' overall strategy.
4. Develop and implement property solutions to support the delivery of a safe working environment and a safe rail system.
5. Identify and exploit opportunities for cost savings, income generation, and capital growth.
Requirements:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
MRICS qualified (or working towards)
Good communication and influencing skills
Proven negotiation skills
Proven experience of managing a range of property transactions
Good presentation skills
