About the Role:

We are recruiting for a Residential Support Worker to join our team in Birkenhead. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the needs of young people in our care.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve this goal. You will have a good understanding of child development and be able to work effectively with young people, families, and other professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and care for young people in accordance with their individual needs and care plans.
  • Work closely with young people, families, and other professionals to ensure seamless support and care.
  • Contribute to the planning and review of care, health, and education plans for young people.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive environment that supports the personal development and well-being of young people.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of child development and its implications for practice.
  • Knowledge of Child Protection procedures and Social Care Services.
  • Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
