About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at CVS UK Ltd in Newcastle upon Tyne.

  • As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality services.
  • You will have the opportunity to work primarily in our Heaton surgery, with some branch work required, allowing you to develop your skills and experience across different sites and people.
  • Full-time hours are available, up to 40 hours per week, with Saturdays on a rota basis, offering a great work-life balance.
  • Our state-of-the-art facilities include biochemistry, haematology, x-ray, ultrasound, and dental radiography, ensuring you have access to the latest technology and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality nursing care to patients, including routine procedures and emergency cases.
  • Working closely with veterinarians and other support staff to deliver comprehensive care and excellent client service.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and outcomes.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay up-to-date with best practices and advances in veterinary medicine.
Requirements:
  • RGN or RSCN qualified with a strong background in animal care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and pets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and practice management software.
