An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a highly motivated band 6 pediatric nurse to our integrated Children's Community Nursing Service.
Main Duties of the JobWe are seeking highly motivated band 6 children's nurses to work within our integrated Children's Community Nursing Service. Applicants need the ability to work both autonomously and within the wider nursing team.
Key Responsibilities- Work with children and young people receiving treatment for acute conditions such as short-term enteral feeding, intravenous antibiotics, oxygen therapy, and wound care management.
- Support children and young people with long-term conditions including oncology, complex disabilities, and palliative care.
- Carry out continuing care assessments for children and young people within the caseload and work across our special schools service.
- Support clinical nurse specialists in asthma, haemoglobinopathy, and continence care.

Requirements- RSCN/RNC qualification.
- 1 year's nursing experience.
- IV certificate.
- Experience working with children with complex needs.
- Central venous device access.
- Community nursing degree.
