Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our team in the East Kent Liaison Psychiatry Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services to patients presenting with mental health problems to the A&E department and wards of the general hospital.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Providing Psychiatric Care
  2. Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Teams
  3. Acting as Section 12(2) Approved Doctor
  4. Liaising with Mental Health Services and Acute Hospitals
  5. Delivering Training and Education
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 4 years of postgraduate experience, including at least 2 years in core psychiatry training. You should also have a good knowledge of specialty, good clinical skills using a bio-psycho-social perspective, and good oral and written communication skills in English.
