Practice Overview

Our client, a well-established veterinary practice in Bridgend, is seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This 4-veterinary practice is situated in a beautiful location, close to the South Wales coastline, and is proud to deliver high-quality care to patients in their newly built surgery.

Facilities and Equipment

The practice has recently undergone a revamp, creating a spacious environment that includes 4 excellent consult rooms, a kennel and cattery, 2 theatres, a dirty prep theatre, a full in-house lab, an isolation area, a washroom, and a separate office. To ensure a comfortable working environment, there is a fully fitted kitchen and separate office.

Team and Support

The practice has a great team made up of 2 experienced vets, 4 nurses (2 students and 2 qualified), 10 veterinary care assistants, a separate reception team, and a very experienced practice manager to ensure that the right candidate will be well supported.

Working Hours and Flexibility

The role itself can offer real flexibility to the right candidate, from short days or long days, full-time or part-time, or taking a longer lunch to make sure your furry friend gets a nice walk.

They are looking for a vet with a caring, compassionate, and friendly client communication style, along with a practical and down-to-earth fun attitude. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of up to £70,000 p/a (FTE) depending on experience and skills.
