About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team at Lookers VW Blackburn. As a key member of our Service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle health checks using the latest technology and diagnostic equipment
- Perform vehicle services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
- Carry out additional repairs as authorized by the customer, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards
- Conduct road tests to ensure all faults are rectified and customer satisfaction is achieved
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work completed, including relevant paperwork and documentation
Requirements
- Full UK driving license and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working within a workshop environment, preferably with a manufacturer-approved dealership
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
