Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Project Supervisor to join our team in Widnes. As a key member of our Infrastructure division, you will be responsible for overseeing the build and delivery of our fixed line and Wireless projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly review project status to ensure all options have been considered and evaluated to improve construction performance.
  • Manage multiple Civil, flex, and fibre teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Promote a safety-culture reporting system and encourage employees to report near misses and positive interventions.
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to employees on site, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and engagement with the supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Control site environmental issues and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop strong team working relationships and ensure all project KPIs and KPMs are achieved.
  • Upload documents to company systems as required, ensuring accurate and timely project updates.
  • Develop accurate project programmes for weekly updates and ensure compliance with procedures through regular returns.
  • Identify and manage cost risks, and proactively address any problematic issues on site.
  • Submit weekly information through T2C, including timesheets, material sheets, and plant and site checklists.
  • Collect data for divisional coordinators, including scheme drawings and construction details.
  • Provide weekly progress reports to stakeholders.

  • Set a good example to others by working safely and taking reasonable care of yourself and others.
  • Adopt a positive attitude, cooperate, and assist the company in all aspects of Health, Safety, and the Environment.
  • Understand and help implement all relevant health and safety policies and arrangements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • NRSWA accreditation to supervisory level (essential).
  • Civil qualification (desirable).
  • PIA accreditation.
  • SA001, SA002, SA006.
  • Deliver Telecoms civils on Build.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
