Academic Support Professional

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Salary: £90-£110 per day
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ASD Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in South London. This is a full-time position involving work in a year 2 class.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and a passion for helping students with special educational needs achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to pupils
- Creating a positive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and well-being
- Providing pastoral care and support to pupils with ASD
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder
- Valid DBS check (within one year or on the update service)
- Relevant qualifications and training for this role
