The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring students and fostering their creativity and problem-solving skills within the Design & Technology department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape young minds and equip them with essential skills for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging and innovative Design & Technology lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the school's educational vision.
  • Foster a dynamic and collaborative learning environment that nurtures students' curiosity, design thinking, and practical skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual development.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design principles, and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level.

Remuneration and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, aligned with the Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
