We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join our team at Clays Venues. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional bar service and ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Bar Manager in the smooth running of all aspects of the bar, including service, stock management, and staffing.
- Supervise the bar team on a day-to-day basis to maintain coordinated and effective communication and delivery between the bar, floor, and kitchen.
- Monitor the quality of the product and service delivered.
- Assist the Bar Manager in controlling all aspects of stock management, including wastage, holding stock, perishable stock, and consumables.
- Take initiative and demonstrate aptitude and desire to continue to further your career.
- Ensure a safe environment for our team and our guests, ensuring we are always compliant in our licensing objectives.
- Deputise for the Bar Manager in their absence.
- Duty management responsibilities, including opening and closing the venue.
- 3 years' experience in a similar position is desirable.
- Fire Warden (not essential).
- First Aid (not essential).
- Personal License (not essential).
- People management skills.
- Extensive cocktail experience.
