Job Title: Senior Brand Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Brand Strategist to join our team at Halfords. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our brand strategy across all customer-facing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy to drive differentiation and improve brand metrics.
  • Lead the development and implementation of our content strategy, aligning all internal and external content developers to deliver high-quality creative assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver key strategic campaigns that drive brand awareness and customer consideration.
  • Manage and lead a team of creatives, including campaign teams, copywriters, photographers, videographers, designers, and packaging print specialists.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with agency partners, including brand agencies, creative agencies, and print and production specialists.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar marketing role, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Experience in driving active brand preference within a competitive consumer business.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence outside of direct line responsibility.
  • Clear, collaborative communication style with a knack for fostering meaningful stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven expertise in working with data-driven insights to inform brand and creative direction.

  • Ability to lead agency partners and create, communicate, and measure performance against plans.
