Freight Forwarding Co-ordinator

At Red Recruit, we are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Freight Forwarder. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience and transferable skills within the freight forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Creating shipping documentation and managing imports from start to finish.
- Planning and arranging deliveries, and receiving pre-alerts from overseas agents.
- Planning loads and sending load lists to agents, and creating files both manually and on the computer system.
- Receiving and checking relevant import documentation and passing it on to shipping lines.
Full training will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals in the industry. If you have excellent attention to detail, and admin/customer service skills, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.
As a Junior Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of deep-sea import movements, including creating shipping documentation, planning deliveries, and managing imports from start to finish. You will also have the opportunity to work with overseas agents, customers, and hauliers, and will be responsible for receiving and checking relevant import documentation.
Requirements:- Excellent attention to detail and admin/customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
