Electrical and Electronics Manager Job Description

We are excited to be working with a leading food manufacturing business, renowned for their exceptional products enjoyed globally.

The company is currently experiencing significant growth, and as a result, is looking to strengthen its Engineering Management department by appointing an Electrical Manager to oversee electrical competency and compliance onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise electrical contractors and control panel suppliers to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  2. Manage electrical compliance to meet regulatory standards and company policies.
  3. Coordinate electrical projects, including HV and LV network management.
  4. Act as a champion for electrical safety on site, promoting a culture of safety and risk management.
  5. Line manage Automation and MES Engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 3 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  2. Proven experience in electricity, process control, instrumentation, and PLC/HMI programming.
  3. Experience working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  4. Hold a HND or HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  5. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (desirable).
