Kenton Black Ltd is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Manager to join their team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily implementation of the ISO 17025 Quality System, ensuring ongoing compliance with UKAS and RSA requirements. This includes overseeing quality control of media, dealing with failures, and processing daily controls.

In addition, the Quality and Compliance Specialist will assist the Quality Manager in reviewing the hygiene programme, taking corrective action on all failures, and completing non-compliance reports as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Oversight of quality control of media and resolution of related issues
  2. Collaboration with the Quality Manager on hygiene programme reviews and development of corrective actions
  3. Preparation and submission of non-compliance reports
  4. Support for Quality Manager in reviewing quality documentation against national and international standards
  5. Test witnessing of microbiology methods, including completion of relevant training records
  6. Attendance at regular Quality Meetings
  7. Acting as deputy for the Quality Manager as needed
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in managing technical and quality processes in food and water testing under ISO 17025 accreditation or equivalent GMP standards
Estimated Salary:

£50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
