Job Title: Transportation Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to transport members of our weekly social club with a learning disability from Saffron Walden to Stansted on a Thursday evening approximately once a month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a 15-seater wheelchair-accessible minibus ensuring the safety of all passengers.
  • Become familiar with the needs and requirements of each member, providing personalized support throughout the journey.

Requirements:

  • A valid minibus driving licence.
  • An ability to establish instant rapport with members, understanding their unique needs and circumstances.
  • A caring and compassionate nature.

Work Schedule:

The successful candidate will be required to work approximately once a month, Thursday evenings. The first journey will depart between 5:30-7pm, returning by 8:45-10pm.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting our members' well-being and independence.
