Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at A Wilderness Way Ltd. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to children in our residential services.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for leading a team of practitioners and supporting children with challenging behaviour, while also developing and implementing individualised care plans to meet the needs of each child.

Main Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Developing and implementing individualised care plans to meet the needs of each child
  • Managing challenging behaviour and promoting positive relationships with residents
  • Collaborating with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for our residents

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in residential childcare or a similar setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support

Salary and Benefits:
