About the Role

As a Nurse Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in helping people move forward with their lives by conducting assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

You will work with a diverse range of customers, handling challenging situations with empathy and professionalism. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your clinical knowledge and hone your assessment skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to gather information about a person's disability or health condition.
  • Produce factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine eligibility for benefits.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to manage caseloads efficiently and deliver a high-quality service.
