Rail Service Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Rail Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for carrying out fault diagnostics on modern diesel engines, downloading data, and familiarizing yourself with ECUs (Electronic Control Units).
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to move your career towards the Rail sector. As a Service Engineer, you will be working in a highly safety-critical environment, undertaking pre-employment checks including medicals, drug and alcohol screens.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out fault diagnostics on modern diesel engines
- Download data and familiarize yourself with ECUs (Electronic Control Units)
- Undertake remote diagnostic work to obtain, evaluate and interpret data to identify likely faults before physically inspecting the engine
What We Offer
Basic salary of £37,000 per annum + Overtime available + Company Van + Fuel Card, Laptop, Mobile Phone. This role is field-based, covering the M4 Corridor area, from Reading to London, working a 4 on 4 off shift basis, 40 hours a week, 25 Days holiday + BH, attractive pension scheme, private medical, and other big company benefits are offered as standard.
