Job Overview
The HR Administrator role supports the administration and day-to-day operations of all the functions and duties of the HR Department. This position primarily focuses on supporting payroll, compensation, benefits, and wellbeing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration: inclusive of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting (to include P11D, Company Vehicle Registration, Pensions etc).
- Company-wide committee facilitation and participation;
- Company employee communications;
- Compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping;
- Employee service support
- Ensure relevant HR databases are up to date, accurate, and compliant with legislation
- Preparing data and provision of information for reports
- Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office
Requirements and Qualifications
Ideally, candidates will have significant experience working in a HR environment within the manufacturing industry with a strong emphasis on payroll management. Applicants must be available to start immediately. Key skills include confidence, analytical thinking, enthusiasm, and being well-organized. Flexibility, good communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to achieve demanding objectives are essential. A high degree of initiative and being an excellent team player are also required. The ideal candidate will have some experience working in a HR or Customer Service environment, ideally within the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and academic qualifications (educated to A-level standard or equivalent) with GCSE qualifications in Mathematics and English Language at grade C or above as a minimum are necessary.
