About Us

Prestwood Infant School in Buckinghamshire is an outstanding village school part of the Great Learners Trust. We pride ourselves on having a friendly staff team dedicated to the well-being and education of our children.

Our Pre-school is thriving, and we aim to give children who attend us a fantastic start to their time in education. We strive to understand that children have different needs, and our Pre-school Assistant will contribute to this approach by being proactive and enthusiastic about helping children access the curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and quality of the setting, ensuring a high standard of care and education for our children.
  • Foster effective verbal and written communication skills to communicate with parents or carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and any relevant issues.
  • Develop an interest in working with children with additional needs to help access the curriculum and support their educational journey.
Requirements
  • A Level 3 childcare qualification is essential for this role.
  • Active contribution to the well-being and education of children in the Pre-school is also required.

We offer a competitive salary of £9,656 - £10,124 (Bucks Pay Scale 1a/5 to 1b/10 depending on experience), along with term-time only hours of 18 3/4 per week, Monday to Friday.
