About the Senior Care Assistant Role

We're looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at The Laurels Care Home in Draycott, Cheddar, Somerset. As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aiding residents with their emotional well-being and social needs
• Administration and monitoring of medications to residents
• Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents' specific needs
• Plan, allocate and supervise the work of the team of care assistants

Requirements:

• Experience as a Senior Care Assistant and leading a team
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this
