**Job Summary**

Aztec is looking for an experienced Workday Data Integration Lead to oversee the data migration and integration efforts for a full-platform Workday implementation. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent stakeholder management abilities, and excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday HR and Finance modules, particularly in data migration and integration. A strong understanding of SQL, ETL tools, and data migration methodologies is also essential.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $130,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the data migration strategy for the Workday implementation, covering both HR and Finance systems.
  2. Define and execute data governance processes to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather data requirements, ensuring alignment with business processes and system capabilities.
  4. Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities, ensuring the accurate migration of legacy data into the Workday platform.
  5. Manage data validation and reconciliation efforts, ensuring discrepancies are resolved before go-live.
  6. Work with third-party vendors and internal teams to integrate data from other systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, financial reporting) into Workday.
  7. Develop and maintain a data migration plan and schedule, identifying key milestones and risks.
  8. Provide regular updates on the status of data-related activities, including data readiness, migration progress, and issue resolution.
  9. Manage and mentor a team of data specialists and analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work.
  10. Collaborate with the Change Management team to provide insights on data impacts to users and stakeholders.
  11. Ensure data privacy and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
  12. Support post-go-live data maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting efforts.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience in data management, with a strong focus on ERP implementations, preferably Workday.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HR and Finance modules, particularly in data migration and integration.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL tools, and data migration methodologies.
  • Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead data teams through complex ERP implementations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
  • Familiarity with compliance and data security regulations (GDPR, SOX, etc.).
