We are seeking an experienced Food Operations Director to join our team in a major High Street brand. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all catering and service operations to ensure exceptional food and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Supervise culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
  • Communication: Regularly communicate with line managers to monitor KPIs and targets.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Innovation: Identify opportunities for new food or service concepts to drive sales.
  • Customer Liaison: Liaise between customers and culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
  • Training and Development: Support and train teams to excel in their roles.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.

Requirements:

  • Passion for Great-Tasting Food: Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
  • Catering Experience: Have a minimum of two years of catering experience.
  • Team Management: Have experience managing teams in a similar role.
  • Qualifications: Hold an NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2.
  • Financial Acumen: Demonstrate brilliant financial acumen.
  • Communication Skills: Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ambition: Be an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill.
