Empathetic Care Activities Manager

At Exemplar Health Care, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs, neurological conditions, and physical disabilities.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and caring Activities Coordinator to join our team at Willowbeck care home in Sheffield. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in empowering our residents to live fulfilling and happy lives through the delivery of engaging and meaningful activities.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for organising individual activity plans based on our residents' unique goals and interests, fostering community spirit through group activities, and supporting people to maintain their current and take up new hobbies, interests, and educational opportunities.
- You will assist people to become more involved in their local community, celebrate national awareness days, holidays, and individual/collective achievements, and promote choice, dignity, and independence.
Responsibilities:
- Organise creative and fun activities for our residents.
- Foster a sense of community among our residents.
- Support residents to maintain their current and develop new hobbies and interests.
- Assist residents to become more involved in their local community.
- Celebrate national awareness days, holidays, and individual/collective achievements.
- Promote choice, dignity, and independence.
