About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at Theo James. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee NPI deliverables for assigned areas, including electrode, cell, module, and pack.
  • Prepare project documentation to meet key milestones and customer requirements, following the APQP methodology.
  • Collaborate with global teams on test plan development and deployment of global strategies.
  • Develop and implement product validation plans during equipment commissioning and quality control phases.
  • Analyze quality data, conduct statistical analysis, and generate reports to track trends, identify improvement areas, and make data-driven decisions to enhance product quality.
  • Participate in product or process design and development, offering input on quality requirements and validation plans.
  • Perform risk assessments and contribute to failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate quality risks.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Create, review, and improve Control Plans at various stages of APQP.
  • Lead or support root cause analysis investigations, developing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the Quality Engineering Team.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a quality role, preferably in New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Familiarity with Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA, SPC) and quality methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
