We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) specialist to join our team as Finance Business Partner. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to directly impact strategy by supporting stakeholders with meaningful analysis and insights. As a key member of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial insights to drive profitable business growth.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the FP&A Director on proactive business analysis and insight for our four trading units and central teams. They will also partner with the Commercial Finance Director to identify opportunities for operational and commercial efficiency, cost savings, and profitability maximisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver regular reporting to provide critical insights for FP&A, commercial finance, and broader stakeholders.
  • Execute ad hoc data analysis at customer, category, and product levels to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee comprehensive management reporting, including monthly performance packs, individual/channel performance metrics, and pipeline reporting.
  • Assist with budget and reforecast support across the group, automation of month-end processes, and the roll-out of Power BI for enhanced reporting.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in finance, economics, or mathematics (or similar field).
  • CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified or actively studying.
  • Strong analytical abilities, ideally with commercial/pricing experience.
  • Familiarity with ERP implementation desirable.
  • Experience in wholesale, retail, or FMCG (high volume, low margin) is a plus.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including:
