Job Details

This is a fixed-term position for 9 months to cover maternity or parental leave. The successful candidate will work as a teaching assistant in a school setting, supporting the teaching and learning process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in the classroom, providing support to students and helping with lesson planning and delivery.
  • Work with students individually or in groups, providing additional support and guidance as needed.
  • Help maintain a safe and organized learning environment, ensuring that students have access to necessary resources and materials.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents, providing updates and feedback as required.
Requirements
  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in both English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Experience working with young people, preferably in a school setting.
  • Ability to use technology to support teaching and learning, including digital tools and software.
