Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of our critical systems and services. This role requires a unique blend of software engineering and operations skills to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. System Reliability and Performance:
    • Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure to support our business growth.
    • Monitor system performance, detect issues, and implement strategies to ensure maximum uptime.
    • Develop and implement disaster recovery and data backup plans to minimize downtime.
    • Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations to ensure seamless system performance.
  2. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with development teams to integrate reliability into the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
  1. Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience:
    • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps role.
  3. Skills:
    • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
    • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
    • Experience with monitoring/logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
    • Good understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures, and programming practices.
    • Solid understanding of networking, databases, and security principles.
