Job Title: Van Driver / Installation Engineer

Location: Birmingham, UK

Salary: £12.00 per hour, rising to £29,000 per annum after 3 years of service

Job Type: Full Time only

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Van Driver / Installation Engineer to join our team on a 12-week temporary to permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining grease trap equipment and delivering it to various establishments across mainland UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver, collect, service, and maintain grease trap equipment in a timely and efficient manner
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
  • Communicate with clients and provide excellent customer service
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring constant communication with the office
  • Maintain and clean the company flatbed van daily
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet service and delivery targets
Key Requirements:
  • Clean driver's licence with one year's commercial driving experience in similar vehicles
  • An element of physical fitness due to some of the heavy lifting involved
  • Previous experience as a service engineer and/or installation engineer is preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the job
  • Attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately and on time
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when required
  • Willingness to travel to different locations all over the UK
