SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a popular Southwark Primary school. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting children with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, Global Delay, MLD/SLD, and will possess training or experience in Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to children with SEN, as well as group support in class
  • Collaborate with the SENCo to develop and implement EHCPs and monitor student progress
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students
  • Be flexible and proactive in responding to the needs of students and the school
