This role is ideal for individuals seeking to gain experience in education, particularly those considering a future career in teaching. The position offers the opportunity to develop necessary skills and experience for teacher training applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teachers across various subject areas. They will also be expected to manage behaviour and ensure all tasks are completed by pupils.

Applicants should have previous experience working within education, however, any transferable skills to work with children and young people will be considered. A teaching qualification is not required.

This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent in the future. The role involves supporting secondary schools as and when they require assistance. The successful candidate will have flexibility in their working hours, making it suitable for those with other commitments.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants will undergo safeguarding checks and must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance will be provided.

The role offers competitive pay rates, depending on previous experience. The successful candidate will work with schools located across Bolton, Bury, Salford, and Wigan, with excellent links to public transport from surrounding areas.
