We are seeking a highly skilled Community Care Advocate to join our team in the Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Support Service, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with serious mental health difficulties to achieve their employment goals.

About the Opportunity

This is an excellent chance to contribute to the delivery of award-winning employment support as part of community-based care and treatment. You will be based in the Hexham Community Treatment Team in South West Northumberland, where you will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with service users, fostering trust and understanding.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the multi-disciplinary team to ensure cohesive delivery of care and treatment.
  • Skilled use of IT hardware and software to coordinate communication and documentation.
  • Efficient time management to maximise impact, including travel in the community, visiting service users in their homes, and visiting businesses.
Benefits and Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £36,000 - £46,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes pension schemes, annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.
