About the Role

The Accounts Receivable Officer is a key member of the Arcare Finance team, responsible for the effective management of accounting and administration processes related to client fees and charges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer data regarding client admissions and discharges
  • Process client invoicing, receipting, reconciliation, debt collection, and banking
  • Reconcile government claim statements to payment statements and follow up as necessary
  • Maintain accurate occupancy records
  • Liaise with residents and families as required
  • Perform other administrative and accounting duties as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in accounts receivable
  • Knowledge of office administration and general bookkeeping procedures
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail and ability to prioritize
  • Proficiency in software relevant to the position
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a team player
  • Current Police Clearance and Statutory Declaration
