Job Title: PSV Technician

Job Type: Full-time, Workshop-based

We are seeking an experienced PSV Technician to join our team in Woking. As a key member of our workshop operations, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of modern public service vehicles (PSVs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, service, and repair PSVs to high safety and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections, identifying and rectifying any issues promptly.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Work efficiently within a structured shift pattern: 7 days on, 3 days off, alternating between days and nights.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all job-related paperwork and records.
Requirements:
  • Experience over qualifications, ideally NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working on PSV vehicles or similar heavy-duty vehicles (HGV).
  • Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive approach to fault-finding and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work within a shift system and maintain high standards under time pressure.
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations within a workshop environment.
