Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Strategist to join our Finance Team. This is a critical role that will play a key part in shaping the financial strategy and direction of our clinical services.

About the Role

  • As a Senior Financial Strategist, you will work closely with our finance team and clinical directors to develop and implement effective financial strategies that support our clinical objectives.
  • You will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance and advice to our clinicians and managers, ensuring they have the necessary resources to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Developing and managing budgets for our clinical services, including forecasting and reporting on financial performance.
  • Leading on the implementation of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborating with our stakeholders to identify areas for cost savings and implementing initiatives to reduce costs without compromising quality.

Requirements

  • A qualified accountant (CCAB) with significant experience in financial management within the NHS or a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clinicians and managers at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a salary range of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
