We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at MTS Cleansing Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving and operating specialist jetting tankers, attending emergency call-out situations, and working on private and public land in accordance with statutory health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and operate specialist jetting tankers, including Super Suction Jetting Tankers and Combination Jetting Tankers, after receiving necessary training.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs to address sewer blockages, flooding, and pollution.
  • Work on private and public land, adhering to strict health, safety, and environmental protocols.
  • Conduct vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all jobs.
  • Report any defects, accidents, or near misses to the Line Manager immediately.
  • Maintain a driver's log book in compliance with MOT rules and procedures.

Requirements:

  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) for Class 2 vehicles.
  • Flexibility to undertake ad-hoc duties when the vehicle is off the road or assisting other field teams.
