Job Description

Protocol Education is seeking a qualified and experienced Flexi-Cover Supply Teacher to work with local Primary and SEN Schools in Hertfordshire. As a Flexi-Cover Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the curriculum in an engaging and fun way, working across all year groups as and when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver lessons to students in a variety of year groups, covering staff absence, extra teaching support, interim recruitment, or training.
  • Carry out work pre-set by class teachers to a high standard.
  • Manage the behavior of pupils while they undertake their work, ensuring a constructive and positive environment is maintained.
  • De-escalate situations within the classroom, adhering to safeguarding procedures.
  • Collect and return work to the appropriate recipient.
  • Report any safeguarding concerns using the school's referral procedures and safeguarding policies.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status is essential.
  • Experience in Further Education, lecturing, tutoring, coaching, or project leading from a childcare or young adult background is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and reading comprehension are required.
  • Degree-educated and a proven track record of positively impacting the lives of children are essential.
  • Right to work in the U.K. is required.
