Programme Manager Role at Space Forge Ltd

About the Role

Space Forge Ltd is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our team. As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing programmes and their projects across the semiconductor business unit, cooperating with other Programmes Managers within the space business unit to handle cross-dependencies and deliver on business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement programme strategies, plans, and schedules to deliver business objectives.
  2. Manage programme budgets, resources, and risks, ensuring effective allocation and mitigation of risks.
  3. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver programme objectives, providing guidance and support as needed.
  4. Communicate programme progress and status to stakeholders, including programme sponsors, team members, and external partners.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing funded collaborative projects, with a strong understanding of programme management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with project management software tools, including Microsoft Project and Jira.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in providing leadership, direction, and structure to teams in rapidly changing environments.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently towards goals.
