Join Our Team as a Financial Reporting Director

allpay Limited is a leading Fintech company in the UK, specializing in payment and financial services. We are seeking an experienced senior leader to support our FD in developing and strengthening our financial control and reporting function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a great team and support them with coaching and development to achieve both team members' and business aspirations.
  • Provide strategic direction to the senior management team on financial control matters to ensure proper supervision of associated current and future risks.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the business on existing and emerging financial accounting standards, reviewing risks and providing pragmatic solutions.
  • Ensure the preparation and presentation of clear, concise, and accurate financial reporting for senior management and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial and statutory standards.
  • Develop and implement a strategy, plan, and associated policies/procedures to deliver a Financial Controls function that optimizes efficiency of processes and accuracy of related financial statements.
Requirements:
  • Be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
  • To be passionate and enthusiastic about the work that you do, having an excellent commercial understanding.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and engage your team to deliver an efficient and effective finance function.
  • Strategic finance business partner with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management.
  • Be curious to see if we can do things a different way and drive forward the finance strategy.
