Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to patients in our Private Patient Unit.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to take on a leadership role within our team. You will be responsible for leading a small team of therapists and providing clinical supervision and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to patients in our Private Patient Unit.
- Lead a small team of therapists and provide clinical supervision and guidance.
- Develop and implement multi-professional education and training programs within the unit.
- Participate in research and development by initiating, planning, and undertaking clinical audits and research projects.
- Support staff with service development to ensure the provision of a high-quality, patient-centered, and clinically effective service.

Requirements- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC Registration in OT.
- Completed relevant post-registration specialist courses.
- Substantial post-graduate work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience of working as an OT at a senior level with vascular and amputee patients.
- Experience of working with elderly patients.
- Considerable experience of being a Band 6 OT.
- Experience and ability of working in an acute setting.
- Experience of teaching and supervising less experienced staff.
