We are seeking a highly organised and skilled Business Operations Technical Secretary/Author to join our team at AWE.

In this role, you will provide support to the Liabilities function, which includes maintaining site infrastructure and utilities, as well as decommissioning and demolishing old buildings to make way for new modern facilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating leadership, regulatory, customer and/or technical meetings, ensuring all necessary information is gathered and recorded accurately.
  • Reviewing and formatting senior board papers and communications.
  • Working closely with key stakeholders and meeting contributors to ensure meeting outputs are well-informed and accurate.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Level or equivalent qualification, or equivalent on-the-job experience in a comparable field.
  • Excellent organisational skills and experience of managing multiple tasks and stakeholders at any one time.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate information into action plans.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to interpret data sets to ensure appropriate action/response is taken.

The estimated salary for this role is up to £40k, depending on suitability, qualifications, and level of experience. AWE offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including a 9-day working fortnight, market-leading pension scheme, and more.
