Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Milliken & Company is a global leader in materials science, delivering innovative solutions that enhance people's lives. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical plant and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, using advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, reducing downtime and improving efficiency.
  • Ensure all electrical equipment is properly installed, tested, and certified, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance records.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, with a strong understanding of industrial controls and systems.
  • Knowledge of PLC logic, fault finding, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
