Electrical Engineering Specialist

At GE Power Conversion, we provide electrification solutions that enable customers to power their energy-intensive operations and improve energy efficiency. We are recognized for high-performance ship electric power and electric propulsion systems, energy management, and automation and control systems as applied globally across the marine, energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
The Power Conversion Rotating Machines Rugby Engineering Team is responsible for the design and engineering of motors and generators to deliver optimized system solutions in line with the requirements of the wider GEPC business units such as Renewables, Industry, Marine, and Naval.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement key performance metrics to drive continuous improvements in engineering deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop processes and procedures that enable seamless handoffs from engineering.
- Lead root cause analysis using quality tools to address engineering issues and implement preventive actions.
- Analyze data and drive change initiatives to improve productivity and quality.
- Degree qualified in engineering or quality.
- Significant experience in a quality engineering role.
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
