Job Summary:

Shorterm Group is seeking a skilled Avionic Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on the Aircraft Wedgetail Modification Programme based in Birmingham. The role involves converting Boeing 737 NG aircraft and requires the ability to work with intricate wiring harnesses and avionic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive disassembly and removal of avionics equipment
  • Proficient installation of wiring harnesses and implementation of modifications to existing wiring
  • Proficiency in all facets of electrical and avionics tasks
  • Precise execution of wiring terminations and thorough testing procedures
  • Dismantling and reinstallation of shelves, panels, and equipment
  • Meticulous fabrication and testing of wiring looms
  • Thorough systems testing and validation

Requirements:
  • Major Modification experience desirable
  • Experience in various aspects of aircraft electrical systems, including electrical installation, functioning, fault finding, electrical sub-assembly, loom building, and inspection
