Paraplanning Specialist

Seeking a Paraplanning Specialist to join our team at The Recruitment Group. As a key member of our Financial Planning department, you will play a vital role in supporting the creation of financial planning solutions for clients.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with previous paraplanning experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment. You should have a minimum Level 4 Diploma PFS qualification or be working towards it (or FPC qualified with significant industry experience). Chartered Financial Planner status is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have experience with major research systems, such as Analytics and Voyant, as well as knowledge of the Pension Transfer market. Familiarity with IHT and/or Investment products administration is also beneficial.

• Analyzing client requirements and developing cash flow models
• Researching and analyzing financial products to meet client objectives
• Constructing financial planning solutions supported by computer models and reports
• Preparing suitability letters and reports, taking responsibility for client files and back-office IT records

You will work closely with other practice colleagues to ensure application and provider forms are prepared as required, and clients are updated throughout the process. A high level of discretion is essential when dealing with third-party interactions.

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a paraplanner in an IFA or Wealth Management environment
• Level 4 Diploma PFS qualification or working towards it (or FPC qualified with significant industry experience)
• Chartered Financial Planner status preferred
• Familiarity with major research systems (e.g., Analytics, Voyant)
• Experience with Pension Transfer market and/or IHT and/or Investment products administration
