About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Tait - Europe, Middle East and Africa. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support to our clients across the region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radio communications and a proven track record of providing technical support and solutions to customers. You will be responsible for working closely with our Engineering team to respond to customer inquiries, resolve technical issues, and provide training and demonstrations to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and solutions to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to respond to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues
  • Develop and deliver training and demonstrations to customers on our products and services
  • Configure and test radio systems for customer events and demonstrations
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support to customers
  • Manufacture custom system components and configure customer solutions
  • Perform system testing and quality assurance
  • Visit customer sites to perform remedial works and health checks
  • Lead scheduled maintenance activities and support operations team
  • Deliver technical training and support to customers
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role
  • Strong background in radio communications and a proven track record of providing technical support and solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Fluent in written and oral English (additional languages an advantage)
  • Knowledge of Tait products and services (advantageous)
